I grew up in Fort Wayne. I have lived and worked here for a couple decades. I have also have worked in a couple past and present restaurants in town. I have spent my life cooking and learning to be better at what I do. I can go into a restaurant and tell you what was hand made and what came straight out of a box. I want to pass this knowledge on to you. In this economy no one wants to spend their hard earned money on food that tastes terrible.
I will never give any more information than this. You will not 100% know my gender, age, race, looks, or social-economic status. Some days I may go into a restaurant dressed to the 9s and other times I will go in wearing sweats. I want to get the service the average person would get. I don't want restaurants to know who I am and they give me great food and service yet treat the next table terribly.
I also will not disclose party size or even post about my experience within hours or days of eating there. A post I do may be from that week or a month ago. I want to be able to post honestly and the only way to do that is to be anonymous.

Hardee's - Washington Center and Lima Road
My husband grew up eating Hardee's and when he heard there was one back in Fort Wayne we had to go investigate. It is located on the North West corner of Washington Center and Lima Road. This makes for a little difficulty in getting into the parking lot. When we went it was after the first few days of being open so the store was packed both inside and in the drive thru. There was around 15 employees working which is normal for a grand opening.
The prices were fair but a little on the higher side of "fast food" prices. We bought a 1/3 Angus Mushroom Burger for $4.99, a 1/3 Angus Cheeseburger for $4.39, 6 pc Jalapeno Peppers for $2.99, and a large drink for $2.19. Since we were eating there they gave us a number to take to our table. Even though they were packed the food came out in about 5 minutes.
The drink was the worst part of the experience. We tried 3 different types of pop and each one had a flat, off taste. In the future we will just be ordering water or have our own drinks.
Both of the burgers were very good. They were preformed patties but they were actual hamburger instead of grain mixed dog food some other fast food places serve. Hardee's say all their burgers are 100% Black Angus. They have done a good job in mixing a thick and tasty hand made burger and a fast food value and speed. If you like burgers definitely try them out.
The poppers were not amazing but they weren't complete crap. I like the fact they used chopped peppers in it so you dont end up with a huge pepper that comes out with the first bite. I would say it is of medium heat. If you like a little spice in your snacks you will like it but if you dont like any pepper burn you should pass up on them.
